Local Action Fund 2026

Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEEP) has launched a call for applications to the Local Action Fund 2026, which provides grants of $1,000–$5,000 to NGOs, government bodies, and other organisations working in their countries to eliminate lead exposure. LEEP is seeking proposals for initiatives that advance lead regulation or enforcement, generate new data on lead prevalence, increase awareness of lead hazards, or strengthen local partnerships and capacity in service of lead elimination. Funded activities should take place between October 2026 and April 2027.

Applications open on 17 August. The fast-track deadline, for activities that will be conducted during ILPPW, is 28 August. The regular track, for longer-term projects starting after ILPPW, closes on 11 September (both at 23:59 UTC). All applications must include a detailed budget.
