Lead-Free Reformulation Program for Indonesian Paint Manufacturers

The Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEEP) works with more than 400 paint manufacturers globally, offering free technical assistance to support the transition to lead-free paint production. LEEP is pleased to partner with Asosiasi Produsen Cat Indonesia (APCI) to offer free technical assistance to Indonesian paint manufacturers to support them to reformulate their lead paints. By transitioning to lead-free pigments and driers, manufacturers can comply with local and international standards, improve business sustainability, and protect the health of workers and consumers.

Please fill out this form to sign up to LEEP’s Reformulation Program, which is free to Indonesian manufacturers and allows access to:

• Initial consultation on current state of raw material lead content
• Recommendations for replacement raw materials, and connections to suppliers for access to samples
• Individual technical consultations with paint technologist (40 years experience in the industry) to solve any reformulation issues
• Follow up lead content analysis of new formulations, to confirm they are now lead-free
